Julia Chirnside is a senior knowledge lawyer in our London pensions team with a wealth of experience of all aspects of pensions law.

Before becoming a knowledge lawyer, Julia spent over 10 years advising trustees, employers and insurers on a range of complex and diverse issues, including benefit changes, scheme closures and mergers, valuation negotiations, managing "section 75 debts", the Pensions Regulator's powers, distressed restructurings, GMP equalisation, buy-outs, master trust authorisation and tax issues.  She has also regularly advised on the pensions aspects of UK and international corporate transactions.
