Benita Ikpo

Biography

Benita Ikpo is a lawyer in our litigation and disputes team in Calgary. Benita has a wide variety of interests and regularly assists clients with matters including general commercial litigation, energy disputes, employment law, insurance, and Indigenous law.

Benita is a co-chair of Origins, an employee resource network that supports our firm’s culture efforts and strategy.

Benita joined our litigation group as a legal assistant in 2019. She transitioned into an articling student role in 2021 and completed her articles with us in 2022.

Prior to joining our firm, Benita taught law courses at a college in Calgary. Before that, she worked as an in-house counsel with one of Nigeria’s largest suppliers of heavy-duty electrical equipment.
