Biography
Alexandra Wright-Mascotto assists both provincially and federally regulated employers and is developing a practice in all areas of employment and labour law, including employment standards, labour relations, wrongful and unjust dismissal, occupational health and safety and human rights.
Alexandra represents clients in disputes before various administrative bodies, including the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and in civil litigation before the Superior Court of Justice.
She provides employers advisory assistance to help them manage their workforces, such as drafting, revising and assessing various agreements. Alexandra also has experience assisting with investigations involving workplace issues.
Alexandra first joined our Ottawa office as a summer student in 2019 and completed her articles with us in 2020 and 2021. While in law school, she worked as a teaching assistant for contracts classes. She also competed in the Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Competition and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
