Rebecca Brown is developing a broad practice in business law, with a focus on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.

Rebecca joined us as a summer student in 2020 and returned to complete her articles in 2021-2022. During her articling term, Rebecca completed a secondment at the Bank of Nova Scotia, where she gained valuable experience working on a range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

During law school, Rebecca served as a caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services, a volunteer with Law in Action Within Schools, and President of the Osgoode Women's Network. Upon graduation, she received the Dominic Carinci Memorial Prize in Business Associations and Real Estate, Blaney McMurtry LLP Prize in Indigenous Peoples and Canadian Law, Lee Robertson Memorial Award, IFLS Vanguard Award, and Student Honour Award. Prior to law school, Rebecca spent several years in the publishing industry, working as a proofreader and fact-checker.
