Biography
Matthew Bambury is a banking and finance lawyer based in London, specialising in asset finance and shipping finance. Matthew has experience of a broad range of international transactions in the shipping finance area and acts for shipping companies, banks, export credit agencies, lessors and other financial institutions on all aspects of shipping finance transactions. Matthew has particular experience advising on ECA financings and structured leasing transactions, having acted on multiple award-winning transactions in these spaces.
Matthew trained with the firm and has spent time in the Middle East offices and on secondment with a leading shipping bank.
