Gerrit Bouwer is a senior and experienced litigation lawyer based in Johannesburg, with over 35 years of experience in the insurance space. 

Gerrit specialises in all aspects of insurance and related litigation and dispute resolution.  This includes property litigation, insurance claim rejections, advising on fraudulent claims, and all aspects of personal injury claims. 

Gerrit has also advised many clients in regard to white collar crime, with emphasis on fraud and corruption. 

Gerrit also specialises in construction disputes, and the interpretation and application of construction agreements.  He also has extensive experience in advising on disputes, or managing litigation and claims, arising from construction guarantees.

He also specialises in agricultural litigation and dispute resolution, particularly in respect of product liability claims.
