Biography
Carina is an attorney, conveyancer and notary in the real estate team based in Johannesburg.
She has more than 13 years' practice experience in conveyancing and property law. She focusses on conveyancing transactions relating to residential and commercial property, property due diligences, restructures relating to immovable and movable property, advising clients in respect of commercial property loan agreements and the general details of a property transaction.
As a notary public she is involved in the execution of prospecting and mineral rights, conversion of mining rights and related applications at the Mining Title Registration Office. Her notarial practice includes advising and drafting of notarial bonds. She is also involved in the drafting of a variety of property related agreements, the registration of transfers of property, mortgage bonds, as well as, other deeds of security at the various deeds registries. She is involved in drafting of agreements pertaining to the sale and lease of various properties relating to renewable energy projects as well as general advice pertaining thereto.
Carina holds a BProc and LLB degree from the University of the Free State, a master's degree from UNISA and a higher diploma in tax from the University of Johannesburg.
