Biography
Julia Bassett is an associate in our employment and labour group.
Ms. Bassett is currently gaining experience in a variety of areas of employment and labour law, including employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, wrongful dismissal, disability benefits related claims and labour arbitrations. She joined our Toronto office in 2013 as a summer student and articled with us in 2014-2015.
While in law school, Ms. Bassett was research focused, acting as a research assistant throughout her studies and obtaining the Borden Ladner Gervais LLP Research Fellowship in May 2012. Ms. Bassett also participated in various extra-curricular activities, including volunteering for Pro Bono Students Canada.
