Biography
Tate McLeod is a litigator whose practice covers a wide range of complex commercial, insurance, employment and disability benefit disputes.
He has extensive experience in representing and advising financial institutions, employers and insurers in a variety of contract and tort disputes, including disability benefit and workplace injury claims. He also acts on behalf of all kinds of professionals and institutions in a wide range of liability defence matters.
Tate has successfully appeared before all levels of the Ontario provincial courts, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. He also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Tate is the Ottawa local chair of the litigation group. He is also the chair of the firm's Canadian pro bono committee.
