
Sue Ann Gan
Biography
Sue Ann Gan is a shipping lawyer based in Singapore. She has had a focus on maritime law since 2005 and advises financial institutions and owners on a wide range of shipping work across all asset classes, including both financing and restructuring matters.
Sue Ann's shipping litigation background has equipped her to deal with complex issues that arise in risk management and restructuring matters (including workouts and rehabilitation process). She regularly conducts due diligence exercises and advises stakeholders on bankability, risk and liability issues in relation to shipping projects.
In 2023, Sue Ann is recognised by Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a "Rising Star" in Shipping and as a "Next Generation Partner" in Asset Finance. She is also ranked as Top 10 Influential Shapers in Singapore's International Shipping Finance Sector by the Business Today News in 2023.
