Biography
Timo Noftz is a banking lawyer based in Hamburg. He is in charge of our German rail and shipping practice and has wide experience in asset and project finance where he acts for lenders, lessors, lessees, sponsors/project companies and other parties in complex national and international finance and lease transactions for aircraft, ships, rolling stock and other moveable and immovable assets as well as energy, infrastructure and PPP projects.
Timo is recommended in the transport section of Legal 500 Germany 2016 and praised for his ‘exceptional advice’.
Timo holds a law degree from the University of Hamburg and a master's degree from the University of London (King's College). He was admitted as a lawyer in 2004 and spent two years working for a renowned German law firm specialising in international law before he joined us. He is a member of the German Bar Association and the German-British Jurists’ Association.
Timo is a German native speaker and speaks English fluently.
