Biography
David Moreno is a trial lawyer who advises clients in complex civil and corporate litigation, white-collar defense, SEC investigations and cross-border disputes. He is a strategic advisor to his clients with an intimate understanding of their business goals, direction and structure, often advising them about wide-ranging opportunities and issues and the corresponding legal implications.
David represents companies in both state and federal court in business and real estate disputes, product liability matters, antitrust and financial transactions across the country. He advises financial service providers, construction companies, tech companies, restaurant groups, member-led associations, life sciences companies and manufacturers in litigation. He also represents clients in white collar matters including cross-border issues, healthcare fraud, securities fraud and other financial crimes and leads independent investigations on behalf of his clients.
Additionally, David provides counsel to corporations, executives and other high-profile individuals including politicians, athletes, entrepreneurs and entertainers in high-stakes legal disputes, business transactions and complex crisis situations involving reputation management. He has represented professional sports teams in the US and abroad and is certified as a contract advisor by the National Basketball Players Association and the National Football League Players Association.
David started his career as an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office where he successfully tried many to verdict. He is often called upon to lead large trial teams in complex matters across the country.
