Biography

Gerar Mazarakis is a cybersecurity and privacy attorney in Washington, DC.  As a former cyber intelligence analyst, he works closely with forensic investigators and threat intelligence experts immediately following potential incident discovery for containment, remediation, and investigation.  He also engages with incident response teams and CISOs to address regulatory requirements, develop communication strategies, and create and enhance incident response plans and procedures.  Gerar is a certified Information Privacy Professional in the US and Europe and is Experienced in intellectual property litigation before key US venues such as the International Trade Commission and Court of Federal Claims.
