Biography
Maeve Tibbetts is an energy regulatory and projects lawyer in Norton Rose Fulbright's Washington, DC office and a part of the projects group. Maeve advises owners and developers of electric generation, storage and transmission projects, electric utilities, natural gas pipelines, and investors and financing parties regarding Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) rules and policies. Maeve has extensive experience helping clients navigate the complex rules of FERC-regulated regional wholesale markets, including ISO/RTO tariffs, stakeholder advocacy and representation before FERC. Maeve also litigates and resolves contested rate filings and complaint proceedings arising under the Federal Power Act and the Natural Gas Act.
Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Maeve worked as an associate in the energy infrastructure practice of a large global law firm, and as a staff lawyer with the Independent Market Monitor for PJM Interconnection.
