Biography
Katie is an associate in the Washington D.C. office where she advises clients on cybersecurity and privacy issues. Her expertise lies in cross-border incident response where she assists clients and third parties to contain incidents, investigate the cause and scope, and prepare public and regulatory communications on behalf of clients. She also advises clients on the secure handling of confidential and personally identifiable information, as well as compliance with international, federal and state privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA, and GLBA.
During her time in law school, Katie was a research assistant for Professor Daniel Solove where she researched privacy and cyber matters. Prior to law school, she supported the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Katie holds a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Global Security from the University of Glasgow.
