Biography
Ian Slingsby is an associate in the firm's Washington, DC office. His practice focuses on regulatory and government investigations, internal investigations, white collar criminal defense and anti-corruption issues.
During law school, Ian was a Lead Articles Editor for the William and Mary Law Review. He was also the Spong Research Justice, writing the 2023 William & Mary Moot Court Competition. In the Fall of 2022, Ian interned at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. At graduation, Ian was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received the 2023 Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Clinical Student Award for his dedication to pro bono clinical work in family law matters and veterans benefits appeals.
