Biography

Rosalind Messer is responsible for developing our global life sciences and healthcare practice and strengthening client relationships in this key industry sector. She moved from our London office to our Toronto office in 2012 to take on this role.

Formerly a partner practising in our London office, Rosalind is an intellectual property and technology lawyer who is admitted to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales. Her UK practice extended to all aspects of intellectual property and technology law, including the protection and exploitation of patents, copyrights, designs and trade-marks. She has extensive experience in advising on licensing, research and development, technology transfer, distribution arrangements and the IP and IT aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and floatations. Rosalind has also advised on a wide range of IT, outsourcing and data privacy matters.
