Projects team represents Matrix Renewables in acquisition of 4.6 GW development portfolio

A cross-office team of projects lawyers from Norton Rose Fulbright represented Matrix Renewables in its acquisition of a 4.6 GW portfolio of utility-scale solar energy projects across the central US from SolarStone Partners. The companies will develop the portfolio together while exploring additional opportunities in other US markets.
The transaction provides Matrix Renewables, a leading global renewable energy platform with projects in North America, Europe and Latin America, with a significant addition to its renewable projects portfolio in the US. Globally, the company's portfolio includes 2.3 GW of operational, under construction or near ready-to-build solar PV, wind and storage projects, with an additional 7.3 GW in the pipeline.
Norton Rose Fulbright's deal team was led by Becky Diffen (Austin) and Megan Savage (Houston) and included Raquel Bierzwinsky, Shaileen Berlas (New York), Caileen "Kat" Gamache, Lindsey Swiger, Josh Morton (Houston), Hilary Lefko (Washington, DC), John Young and Nura Yanaki (Chicago).
