Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Virgin Atlantic on its order of seven additional Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, completing its fleet transformation.
This latest agreement, announced during this week’s Farnborough Airshow, builds upon Virgin Atlantic’s initial A330-900neo order made in 2019 and brings the airline’s total number of A330-900neo ordered to 19 aircraft in total.
Norton Rose Fulbright partner Will Alete advised on the negotiation and legal documentation for the order, with the firm having already negotiated the original A330-900neo deal in 2019.
Partner Will Alete said:
“We were delighted to be able to assist our client Virgin Atlantic with this important order, as it celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. This agreement - an increase to its 2019 A330-900neo original order - brings Virgin Atlantic’s total number of A330-900neo to an impressive 19 aircraft and represents a significant part of its multi-billion-dollar fleet transformation.”
