Infralogic ranks firm first in global renewable energy work by deal volume

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright was ranked by Infralogic as the number one global renewable energy legal advisor for 2022 by deal volume, with 77 transactions totaling more than US$14.5 billion in value.
Norton Rose Fulbright is the only firm ranked as a top three global renewable energy legal advisor for the past five consecutive years.
The firm advised on several groundbreaking deals in 2022, which contributed to its top league table ranking, including:
- the acquisition of a stake in the world's largest offshore wind farm, Hornsea One;
- the development of one of the world's largest solar projects, Travers Solar;
- one of the largest green infrastructure projects in the US, the Champlain Hudson Power Express transmission line;
- the single-largest project finance in India's renewable sector, a hybrid round-the-clock, wind-solar-battery project; and
- the world's first non-recourse debt financing of a fully-merchant battery storage project in California.
