Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright’s shipping finance team has advised on three winning deals recognised by the Marine Money 2021 Deals of the Year awards.
Marine Money is a renowned industry network for shipping and offshore finance, with these accolades recognising outstanding instances of collaboration and resourcefulness from lenders, borrowers and investors in the global ship finance industry.
The winning transactions our team advised on are:
- BANK DEBT DEALS OF THE YEAR: Advised Citigroup and other lenders on a US$815 million secured facility for Danaos Corporation. Led by Yianni Cheilas.
- BANK DEBT DEALS OF THE YEAR: Advised Crédit Agricole on the US$400 million refinancing of Eagle Bulk Shipping's Norwegian bond debt and other bank facilities. Led by Brian Devine.
- PRIVATE EQUITY DEAL OF THE YEAR: Advised lenders and export credit agencies on GasLog’s US$4.6 billion merger with BlackRock. Led by Yianni Cheilas.
