United States | Press release - Recognition | February 2024
Houston partner Geraldine Young has been named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow for 2024.
The LCLD Fellows program provides professional and personal development to high-potential, mid-career lawyers from diverse backgrounds. With eight to 15 years of practice experience, Fellows are recognized within their organizations as deeply engaged, emerging leaders.
During the year-long program, LCLD Fellows receive leadership training, relationship-building resources and access to LCLD members for mentorship and guidance. The program creates opportunities for participants to interact with legal and business leaders.
Young focuses her practice on antitrust, RICO and class action litigation. She has obtained dismissals and other wins for her clients in federal and state courts and in arbitration. She also counsels clients on antitrust and related compliance issues and on pre-litigation disputes.
The LCLD is comprised of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are dedicated to contributing to diversity in the legal industry.
