Frankfurt team advises Deutsche Bank on refinancing of FAIST

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Deutsche Bank on the refinancing of FAIST Anlagenbau GmbH and FAIST Anlagenbau Holding GmbH & Co. KG on a syndicated loan agreement with a volume of EUR 51,250,000.
The refinancing of FAIST is in line with the company's continued growth and is FAIST's first financing under a syndicated loan agreement. The previous bilateral financing and a guarantee facility will be replaced by the new loan agreement. In addition to Deutsche Bank, the lenders involved for FAIST are UniCredit Bank, Commerzbank, Erste Bank der österreichischen Sparkassen and Zurich Insurance.
FAIST Anlagenbau, based in Krumbach, is a medium-sized company with more than 220 employees and over 110 years of experience. Founded in 1904 as a manufacturer of construction products, FAIST has developed into a system supplier for plant construction and the automotive industry. With its core competence in acoustics, FAIST Anlagenbau ensures the protection of people and the environment in many areas of industry.
Deutsche Bank was advised by a Frankfurt-based Norton Rose Fulbright team led by partner Dr Bernhard Fiedler. In addition, Senior Associate Lenka Michalko and Associate Kristina Thielemann (all Banking/Finance) advised. The entire transaction was successfully completed in a period of only six weeks.
FAIST was advised by Eifler Grandpierre Weber (EGW), by a team led by partner Michael Eifler.
