We welcome new employment and labour partner Bede Gahan in Canberra

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today welcomes new employment and labour partner Bede Gahan in Canberra.
Bede is highly experienced in Commonwealth public sector workplace relations matters and has become a trusted advisor to Commonwealth Government departments and agencies. He has a demonstrated record of excellent outcomes for the Commonwealth in highly sensitive and complex employment matters, such as industrial relations and enterprise bargaining, managing ill and injured employees, complaints and grievances, workplace investigations, unlawful discrimination complaints, public interest disclosures and work, health and safety matters.
Bede has run trials in the Federal Court and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, as well as in the Fair Work Commission and Australian Human Rights Commission.
He joins from national law firm HWL Ebsworth, where he was a partner in the Commonwealth Government team, with responsibility for the firm’s Commonwealth Government workplace relations and safety practice. Prior to that, he spent a decade working at Minter Ellison.
