New head to enhance Norton Rose Fulbright’s risk consulting offer

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Haney Saadah as its new head of risk consulting for Europe, Middle East and Asia, further strengthening its full-service offer in the sector.
Haney previously worked at Addleshaw Goddard LLP, where he was Head of Regulatory Risk and Compliance. He has also held leadership roles in EY’s EMEA Risk division and Blackrock’s EMEA Compliance team, as well as working for Deloitte LLP, Barclays and UBS AG.
Haney has extensive experience in the delivery of a wide range of cross-border programs and initiatives, along with the management of diverse international teams. He has worked with a broad variety of financial services providers, from capital markets firms and asset managers through to commercial banks, payments firms and technology suppliers, along with regulators and government bodies. Haney’s experience extends to broader operating and infrastructure considerations, and he often provides strategic risk advice on a range of domestic and international issues affecting senior leaders.
Norton Rose Fulbright’s risk consulting team includes a mix of lawyers, senior industry and risk compliance professionals, and ex-regulators with a wide range of experience across all industry sectors. The practice works closely with the firm’s legal teams to offer clients comprehensive, business-focused advice from a single provider.
