Warsaw team advises Eko-Okna on PLN 1.597bn (€357m) bridge financing

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised Eko-Okna S.A. in relation to credit loan financing made available by a consortium of Polish banks (Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A., Santander Bank Polska S.A., Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski S.A., BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. and ING Bank Śląski S.A.) in the aggregate amount of equivalent of approximately PLN 1.597bn ( €357m). The financing was made available in connection with the expansion of Eko-Okna activities and development of its manufacturing plants.
The Warsaw team advised Eko-Okna S.A. in the comprehensive process of obtaining financing and negotiated the aggregate finance documentation incorporating a number of complex lending products.
The team was led by counsel Krzysztof Gorzelak and included counsels Marta Kawecka and Jacek Smardzewski, associates Przemysław Piasecki, Oskar Sula and Daniel Książek, as well as lawyers Wiktoria Jadczak and Nina Strzelczyk. The team worked under the supervision of partner Grzegorz Dyczkowski, who heads the Warsaw office and the firm’s Warsaw banking and finance practice.
Eko-Okna S.A. is a Polish joinery manufacturer located in Kornice, Slaskie voivodship, specialising in the production of PVC and aluminium window and door joinery. The company is the largest manufacturer of windows in Europe.
