Two lawyers selected for Institute for Energy Law Leadership Class

Two Norton Rose Fulbright lawyers, Lindsey Swiger (Houston) and Daniel Salomón-Sotomayor (New York), have been included in the Institute for Energy Law's sixth Leadership Class.
The Leadership Class program consists of energy professionals who have been practicing in the energy field between three and 12 years and focuses on helping class members increase their knowledge of leadership, communication, diversity and the energy industry through online programming and networking events. Members are selected through an application process.
Swiger is an energy transition projects lawyer who focuses on project development and financing, advising clients across a wide variety of acquisition, procurement, construction and development agreements. Additionally, she has significant experience working with conventional and renewable energy corporate clients on risk analysis and allocation involved in the structuring, acquisition, development, expansion and divestment of domestic and international energy infrastructure projects.
Salomón-Sotomayor focuses his practice on the development of energy projects with a special interest in project finance. He handles a broad range of gas and power transactions, and regulatory matters concerning the rate-making procedures and the utilities' regulation. Additionally, Daniel has experience in the development of energy projects and regulatory procedures in Mexico.
The Institute for Energy Law, a division of The Center for American and International Law, is a membership organization for lawyers and other professionals in the energy industry that provides educational courses, conferences, scholarly publications and membership activities and provides an important forum in which contemporary issues affecting the energy industries can be discussed.
