Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright extends its warmest congratulations to Melbourne corporate and commercial partner Stephen Giles on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the King’s Birthday 2023 Honours List. Stephen was awarded his OAM for service to the small business sector.
Stephen has been a member of the Franchise Council of Australia almost since its inception, has served five terms as its national chairman and has been a national director since 1997.
He has written numerous publications on franchising and competition and consumer law, including the authoritative text Franchising Law & Practice. He has been ranked in the top 10 most respected international franchise lawyers by the International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers.
