Milan office advises PIB Group on acquisition of Inside 2.0

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised PIB Group Ltd (PIB) on the acquisition of 100 percent of Inside 2.0 S.r.l., an Italian insurance agency active in the distribution of insurance policies through car dealers and others in the automotive industry.

PIB is a dynamic and diversified independent specialist insurance intermediary backed by private equity firms Apax Funds and The Carlyle Group. It has grown rapidly since its inception in 2015.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team advising on this transaction was co-led by Milan-based partners Salvatore Iannitti (Head of the FI and insurance practice) and Claudio Di Falco. The team also comprised counsel Pietro Altomani, associate Alessandro Bello and trainee Lamberto Baraldi for all corporate and due diligence aspects related to the transaction, as well as senior associate Irene Bega and associate Federico Moriconi advising on employment law aspects.
