Pre-packs, the Pensions Regulator and the Silentnight case

The Pensions Regulator has settled its “moral hazard” action against a US private equity firm in the Silentnight pre-pack administration case for £25 million.  In this webinar we consider what the Silentnight case tells us about how the Pensions Regulator and the Pension Protection Fund will approach pre-pack administrations, comparing Silentnight with previous cases, and what lessons can be learnt. These issues may be ones more employers and schemes have to consider later in 2021 when the Governments Covid measures come to an end.
