PLSA publishes Stewardship and Voting Guidelines 2025

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association has published its Stewardship and Voting Guidelines 2025, which are designed to provide a framework for pension scheme trustees and their advisers to drive responsible investment and influence positive corporate behaviour globally.
The new edition takes into account recent political and economic events, the impact on shareholder rights of changes to the UK listings rules and AI developments, as well as developments in relation to sustainable finance, social factors and the workforce.

HMRC publishes Pension schemes newsletter no 168
In addition to information for scheme administrators, the newsletter includes a reminder that following the abolition of the lifetime allowance from April 2024, applications for fixed protection 2016 and individual protection 2026 must be made by April 5, 2025.
