Proposed enhancements to corporate reporting obligations

The regulation and investigations team have written an article discussing the UK government's proposal of significant amendments to the Companies Act 2006 which would impose greater reporting requirements on large companies. This would include a requirement to report on material fraud and the article discusses the impact this would have on companies alongside the new failure to prevent fraud offence which we expect to come into force next year.
