Would you like to contribute to and be a valuable member of a team already before starting your own career as a lawyer? Then join Norton Rose Fulbright! During legal traineeship (Anwaltsstation) or the elective stage (Wahlstation), our legal trainees are integrated into our teams and thus thoroughly involved in daily client-related work. This gives them the opportunity to gain comprehensive insight into the work of a lawyer in a full-service law firm, participate in lawyer and client meetings and get immediate feedback on the work they do.
Legal trainees receive support as well as challenge and encouragement during their time at Norton Rose Fulbright. They are closely supported by mentors who provide insight into everyday professional life and act as point of contact for all issues that may arise.
Our legal trainees are invited to participate in internal training events and client seminars. Beyond that, it is a matter of course for us that all legal trainees are released from work to participate in the working groups (AGs) that form part of their legal traineeship.
"During my elective stage (Wahlstation) in the practice group white-collar crime at NRF’s Frankfurt office, the particularly open and pleasant collaboration but also the various work opportunities positively shaped my time as a legal trainee. In addition to general research work, I was deeply involved in international cross-practice as well as cross-location client work and was allowed to participate in many client meetings. This gave me an excellent insight and I am delighted that I can continue my personal and professional development as a lawyer in my former and current team." - Clara Naujack
