A cross-border team led by our Vancouver office and involving teams from Calgary, Toronto, Montréal and London acted for Amcomri Entertainment Inc., in connection with the sale of its television business to Sphere Media Inc. (“Television Sale Transaction”) and its film business to Tropico Limited ("Film Sale Transaction”).

The total consideration paid to the company under the Television Sale Transaction was approximately C$26 million and the total consideration paid to the company under the Film Sale Transaction was approximately C$5.2 million. The consideration was paid through cash and the assumption of certain loans owed by the company’s subsidiaries.
