The Lieferkettengesetz Questionnaire brings together Norton Rose Fulbright’s compliance expertise with Ethixbase360’s powerful Third-party Risk Management platform to help your business identify, mitigate, and manage risks as addressed in the German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains (“Lieferkettengesetz”).
Norton Rose Fulbright has developed a supply chain risk assessment questionnaire (“Lieferkettengesetz Questionnaire”) for third parties. The questionnaire applies know-how developed by our leading International Business Human Rights practice using our global expertise in identifying and assessing human rights and environment-related risks, as addressed by the Lieferkettengesetz, to provide an indicative risk rating.
Driven by a range of resources from political and economic country risk to global slavery risk databases, the questionnaire is licensed to leading provider of third-party risk management solutions Ethixbase360, who will deliver the questionnaire via the Ethixbase360 Third-Party Risk Management platform. The rating can be used to assist organizations in managing their Lieferkettengesetz reporting obligations in multiple jurisdictions by assisting with the risk assessment phase of assessing human rights and environment-related risks.
The Lieferkettengesetz Questionnaire uses five key indicators to assess the supplier’s human rights and environment-related risks:
