October 20, 2020Norton Rose Fulbright was recognised for its work in developing the solution, “Claim Control”, in order to help airlines track, review and defend against EC261 claims relating to flight delays and cancellations, and reduce ‘value leakage’ from airlines' bottom lines. A key feature is that the solution also captures actionable data, to help airlines minimise claimable delays over time.
Norton Rose Fulbright designed a detailed process for tracking, reviewing and proactively defending the claims, with the administration of the project and most of the work completed from its Hub in Newcastle. This work is supervised through an online platform overseen by a disputes team in London and other jurisdictions.
