Professional Regulation
Norton Rose Fulbright Hong Kong operates through registration with the Law Society of Hong Kong as a foreign law firm authorised to provide legal services in the jurisdiction.
Our Hong Kong legal team advises on English, Hong Kong and US law and is made up of Hong Kong lawyers registered with the Hong Kong Law Society, SRA regulated lawyers, and lawyers who are members of and regulated by various US local bars.
Complaints Procedures
The Conduct Section of the Hong Kong Law Society resolves complaints about practising lawyers regulated in Hong Kong.

Professional indemnity Insurance
The Hong Kong Solicitors Professional Indemnity Scheme requires all practicing solicitors, registered foreign lawyers and employees of Hong Kong law firms to maintain a valid indemnity insurance in respect of civil liability incurred in connection with their practice.
In addition, we maintain professional indemnity insurance cover as required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England and Wales Indemnity Insurance Rules 2013, on a world-wide basis with two Lloyds Syndicates: QBE Syndicate 0386, QBE Syndicate 1886 and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. In cases where professional indemnity insurance is required to be placed locally in accordance with statute or regulation, details of such policies can be provided upon request by the General Counsel in London.
