Biography
Cyril Clugnac is a senior investment funds legal advisor based in Luxembourg.
Cyril assists local and international asset managers in the structuring, setting up, day-to-day operations, restructuring and liquidation of Luxembourg regulated (SIFs) and unregulated (RAIFs and SLPs) alternative investment fund structures (including related non-AIF vehicles). He also assists on all regulatory aspects linked to these structures, including anti-money laundering compliance, sustainability‐related disclosures in the financial services sector, cross-border marketing and pre-marketing of AIFs, with a particular focus on real estate, private equity, debt and infrastructure strategies.
Cyril has particular knowledge of Luxembourg product laws and EU regulations, including AIFMD, SFDR and CBDF. Cyril also advises EU investment managers and service providers on the implementation and compliance with the AIFMD.
