Biography
Sébastien Clark has practised intellectual property in our Montréal office since 1996. He assists our clients, both domestic and foreign, in drafting and filing patent applications and obtaining and defending patents and provides strategic advice on patent portfolio management globally. Sébastien advises both multinational corporations and innovative Canadian companies in the aerospace, transportation, energy, mining, aluminium smelting fields, and in health and consumer products and services.
With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Clark has obtained hundreds of strategic patents that have provided our clients with significant competitive advantages. As a trusted advisor, he is frequently called upon to draft infringement, freedom-to-operate and patentability opinions. He is a valued scientific advisor in litigation matters due to his extensive experience in thermodynamics, hydraulics and aeronautics.
Sébastien is also frequently called upon to develop strategies for filing industrial designs in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
