Biography

Kim Stouffer focuses her practice on complex, large-scale transactions within the renewable energy, battery storage, infrastructure and corporate finance sectors. She has represented both lenders and sponsors in project finance transactions involving solar, wind, battery-storage and sustainable aviation fuel. She also has experience in various M&A and tax equity transactions across the US and in Canada.

  • Represented a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) company in connection with a construction financing for a new SAF facility.
  • Acted as lender’s counsel for a term loan and letter of credit facility debt financing of a wind repowering project.
  • Acted as lender’s counsel for the term loan and letter of credit facility debt financing of a battery storage portfolio.
  • Acted as lender’s counsel for a construction and term loan and letter of credit facility debt financing of a 200 MW solar project.
  • Represented a utility, as purchaser, in connection with multiple build-transfer agreement transactions for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects.
  • Represented a portfolio manager with the sale of an approximately 400 MW solar project portfolio.
