Biography

Alison Radecki has more than two decades of experience helping issuers and not-for-profit institutions access the municipal bond market while assisting banks and financial institutions with providing accessible project capital and maintaining federal compliance.

Alison has extensive experience setting up direct purchase programs for banks, creating interest rate products for underwriters and guiding clients through complex disclosure issues. Her knowledge encompasses all financing structures including variable rate debt, tax-exempt and taxable debt, general obligation and revenue bond financings, letters of credit and liquidity-supported bonds, conversions, restructurings, re-offerings, direct placements with financial institutions and private placements.

With a particular focus on post-issuance compliance matters, Alison has assisted the underwriters and obligated persons with the SEC’s Municipalities Continuing Disclosure Cooperation Initiative as well as with their ongoing continuing disclosure compliance obligations.

Alison regularly provides counsel to healthcare institutions, educational institutions, cultural institutions and other non-profit entities, as well issuers underwriters, banks and other lenders:

  • Hospitals and healthcare institutions: Has acted for more than 20 years as bond counsel to major healthcare institutions on bond financings through the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York totaling billions of dollars.
  • Charter and private schools: Serves as borrower’s counsel, disclosure counsel, lender’s counsel and underwriter’s counsel on innovative financings for program and improvement projects for many private schools and charter schools throughout the nation.
  • Higher education: Works with renowned institutions through the complexities of higher education financings.
  • Museums and cultural institutions: Works on financings for some of the preeminent museums and cultural institutions in the world.
  • Banks and lenders: Serves as bank counsel and underwriter’s counsel for various national banks for compliance with federal securities laws.
