Biography
John Poulos is a seasoned litigator focused on complex, high-stakes technology disputes and intellectual property matters. He has represented large technology companies in federal courts and actions in front of the International Trade Commission and Patent and Trademark Office. John has worked on some of the largest technology disputes in history and has managed all aspects of litigation from answer through trial. His work spans software, semiconductors, telecommunications, and trade secrets, as well as copyrights and patents.
Beyond litigation, John has significant corporate and transactional experience, including mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and joint ventures. He is a registered Patent Attorney with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University (SMU). Building on his background in coding, AI systems, and building software companies—along with early-career experience designing capital expenditure projects for a global defense contractor—John brings a unique blend of technical insight, business acumen, and tenacity to help clients navigate rapidly evolving innovation landscapes.
