Biography
Aara Tomar is a lawyer in Norton Rose Fulbright's New York office. She focuses her practice on providing general corporate advice to business owners and tax-exempt entities. As part of her practice, she regularly represents clients in connection with private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, growth equity financing, leveraged buyouts, bankruptcies, recapitalizations and lending transactions.

Representative matters in which Aara has been involved include acting for:
- A solar developer in relation to its acquisition of operating commercial and industrial solar projects spanning across 14 states in the U.S.
- Rockwell Automation in relation to its acquisition of a company that specializes in modular systems for the construction of electrical panels.
- A private equity firm in the acquisition of three clinical research centers, and three companies mainly operating in logistics industry.
- A private equity fund in connection with an investment in a battery energy storage project (of up to 230 MW).
- A global investment firm in connection with its partnership with a private investment firm specializing in renewable energy infrastructure.
- A chemistry and data public company in relation to PIPE and related corporate governance issues.
