Biography
Paul Guirguis is an Associate in the New York office of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP. His practice is focused on Corporate, M&A and Securities; Corporate Finance; Bank Regulatory; and Fintech matters.
An experienced investment professional with extensive knowledge of treasury, liquidity risk, portfolio management, investments, and banking products, Mr. Guirguis brings a versatile knowledge base to his clients and practice. A Stuyvesant High School and University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business alumnus. Mr. Guirguis was later sponsored by Deutsche Bank to attend New York University – Stern School of Business' M.B.A. program.
He continued to work full-time, while attending evening classes until graduating with an M.B.A. specializing in Financial Instruments and Markets, Strategy, Law and Business. Mr. Guirguis also earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law as an evening student while continuing to work full-time. At Fordham, Mr. Guirguis concentrated his studies on Business and Financial Law; International, Comparative and Foreign Law; and Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
He is the Founder of the Fordham Evening Division Society (FEDS), and was voted to be the Student Bar Association Evening Division Vice President. Upon graduation from Fordham, Mr. Guirguis was awarded the Evening Student of the Year Award, and the Adele Monaco Memorial Award which is presented to a member of the graduating J.D. class in the evening division who has made a positive impact on the lives of evening division students through the demonstration of compassion, courage, determination and commitment to public service.
