Biography
Mauricio Salazar is an associate in the Los Angeles office. He represents clients in a variety of public and government finance transactions serving as bond counsel and disclosure counsel. He has experience as bond counsel in connection with the issuance of the following types of obligations: (i) community facilities district bonds; (ii) revenue bonds; and (iii) tax allocation bonds.
Prior to joining the firm, he practiced public finance law and general municipal law with a firm where he also served as assistant city attorney for a longstanding client. Mauricio has experience providing legal advice to city councils, planning commissions, city directors and staff in a wide variety of practice areas including land use, zoning, contracts and elections. He has also worked as in-house counsel for an equipment leasing and finance company based in Los Angeles.
