Biography
Matt Hughey joined Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP in 2016 and has been practicing in public finance since 2004.
He has represented issuers throughout the country in the issuance of solid waste/resource recovery, electric, wastewater, and industrial development revenue bonds, with a particular focus on transactions for large municipal utilities. Mr. Hughey has also extensive experience serving as underwriter's counsel in connection with the issuance of tax-exempt bonds issued to finance or refinance pollution control facilities for the benefit of investor-owned utilities.
In addition, Mr. Hughey has worked as issuer and underwriter's counsel in connection with the issuance of stranded cost and storm damage securitizations issued for the benefit of both municipal and investor-owned utilities.
