Biography
Jackie Baker joined the Dallas office of Norton Rose Fulbright in 2018 as a member of the disputes group. Focusing her practice on commercial litigation, she has experience in a variety of complex commercial and intellectual property matters, including breach of contract, fraud, trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement and patent infringement cases. She has represented clients in multiple industries, including the manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare and aviation industries.
Jackie currently serves as Co-Chair of the Dallas Office's Non-Partner Attorney Committee, focusing on office events and engagement. She also serves as a member of the Dallas Office's Hiring Committee. Jackie previously served as Co-Chair of the Dallas Office's Women's Association (DOWA), where she organized internal and client facing events for the Dallas Office. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two golden retrievers.

Defended telecommunications client in case involving claims for tortious interference and violations of telecommunications laws, asserted counterclaims and successfully obtained preliminary injunction and favorable rulings against plaintiff.
Represented beauty manufacturer in case involving claims of negligence, fraud and breach of contract, successfully removed case to federal court, obtained dismissal of parent company defendants and secured dismissal of all fraud and fraud-based claims, ultimately negotiating favorable settlement for the client.
Successfully defended landscape distributor in Texas state court preliminary injunction hearing, obtaining dismissal for client.
Defended client in major trade secret litigation in the aerospace industry in federal court in California, resulting in favorable settlement for client.
Represented school memorabilia manufacturer in federal trade secret dispute, asserted counterclaims and obtained favorable settlement.
