Mayling Blanco recognized with Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2024 Latino Leadership Award

New York partner Mayling Blanco has been honored with the 2024 Latino Leadership Award by Profiles in Diversity Journal.
This annual award recognizes Latino leaders with a commitment to the community, mentorship and furthering diversity in their fields.
Blanco represents corporations and individuals in white collar defense, government investigations, and commercial litigation matters, notably concentrating her practice on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and corporate fraud, as well as matters implicating criminal tax exposure.
A first generation Cuban American, Blanco is the Hiring Partner in New York, Developmental Partner for her group and an active participant in the firm’s diversity efforts. In these roles, she keeps diversity, equity and inclusion issues a priority while overseeing entry-level recruitment, summer associate hiring and providing guidance to the non-partner lawyers in her practice group. She is also an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, where she serves as a deputy regional president and on the judicial endorsements committee, as well as the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, the Seton Hall Alumni Council, the Cornell Latino Alumni Association and the Board of the South Bronx Community Charter High School.
The Latino Leadership Award recipients will appear in the Profiles in Diversity first quarter issue, sharing personal and professional experiences that have contributed to their success, along with valuable insight and words of advice.
Published since 1999, Profiles in Diversity Journal is a quarterly publication dedicated to "promoting and advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity in the corporate, government, nonprofit, STEM and higher education sectors."
