Norton Rose Fulbright US Vice Chair Daryl Lansdale honored as a 2025 Lawdragon Legend

Norton Rose Fulbright United States Vice Chair Daryl Lansdale (San Antonio and Austin) has been named to the 2025 Lawdragon Legends guide.

Honoring only 28 US lawyers, the 2025 guide recognizes outstanding leaders who have been repeatedly named to Lawdragon lists over the past decade.

Daryl acts a strategic advisor to private equity firms, public companies, family offices and family and founder-owned businesses. Known for his dealmaking acumen, he has handled numerous high-profile transactions involving more than US$10 billion over the last several years. Daryl is valued by his clients not only for his legal skills, but also his business judgement. This skillset combined with his 30 years of experience have made him a sought-after strategic advisor. 

His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, financings, public company reporting, investing activities as well as complex corporate governance and succession planning matters. He is also experienced in conducting internal investigations and advising directors on corporate governance and fiduciary duty issues.

Daryl was previously the firm’s US Managing Partner and Chair of the firm’s US Management Committee. In his current role as US Vice Chair, he provides counsel on strategic management issues, particularly in the development of our Business Practice Group.

Daryl has been included on Lawdragon guides including the Leading Dealmakers in America and Leading Lawyers in America. He is one of four lawyers at the firm to receive this honor, joining Gina Shishima (Austin and New York), Shauna Clark (Houston) and Linda Addison (Houston and New York), who received the distinction in 2024, 2021 and 2018, respectively.
