United States | Press release - Recognition | June 26, 2020
The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF), now in its 14th year, has certified Norton Rose Fulbright as a Gold Standard law firm for the fifth time.
Launched in 2011, the Gold Standard Certification is given to major law firms that meet the specific criteria concerning the number of women among equity partners, those holding leadership positions, serve on governance committees as well as compensation and promotion of women lawyers.
In order to achieve recognition, firms must have at least 300 practicing lawyers in the United States and demonstrate that women represent a meaningful percentage of equity partners and executive positions.
In the first round of announcements, 48 US law firms and eight UK firms have been awarded 2020 Gold Standard Certification.
WILEF is the leading organization dedicated to aiding women in the largest law firms and corporate law departments advance their careers through empowerment and leadership.
